Residents have enjoyed their last chair based fitness session with Tori from GFitness for the year. Their weekly sessions are much enjoyed by all who participate and it’s a great way to keep active. One of the many exercises involved balloon batting and it was quite the experience just to take photos without someone aiming for the photographer! Enjoy your Christmas Tori – we look forward to working with you throughout 2026.

What an amazing afternoon we had at the Tudor Lodge Christmas party! Music, wonderful singing from Steve Holford, laughter, drinks, special
times to cherish with loved ones and fabulous refreshments from our cook Andrew (and Judy for her pavlova).

A double celebration as we also marked our handyman Derek’s 30 years’ service with a presentation and personalised cake courtesy of Serena of Little Cake Cabin.

Congratulations to everyone who won a raffle prize, especially Hero who won the top prize of a Christmas hamper overflowing with Christmas goodies! 🥳

Not only is December a busy month with Christmas and its associated activities but we have celebrated a couple of birthdays with our residents.

Their cakes looked delicious, Stewart chose Coffee & Walnut and Maureen decided on a fresh cream Victoria sponge. Maureen was thrilled with her cake and all the residents wished them well and enjoyed celebrating with them. Many happy returns to you both.

Look at this beautiful cake lovingly made and donated by Serena, one of our Cooks for our raffle. Our table is full of amazing prizes and we look forward to welcoming friends and family to our annual Residents’ Christmas Party tomorrow, 12-2pm 🥳. The buffet is being catered by Andrew and is sure to be delicious 👨‍🍳.

We will be drawing our raffle, which is in aid of local charity In Charley’s Memory, and entertainment is by the ever popular Steve Holford 🎤🎶

At the weekend 5 of our lovely residents enjoyed a trip to Café 33 in Brean with our Activities Assistants Tanya & Cher. They said the café staff were superb as they offered our party food even though they were shortly closing for food orders. Our residents thoroughly enjoyed a cuppa and some delicious cakes whilst spending time with their friends. We had some fun with Cher’s top as well – do you like it? We hope you like the photos that we are able to share.

As usual, the Tudor Lodge team took part in Save the Children UK‘s Christmas Jumper Day today. Don’t they look great? The residents enjoyed seeing them and we raised £29 for a very worthy cause.
