✨ Burns Night Celebrations ✨

We had a wonderful Burns Night filled with tradition and great company. From enjoying delicious haggis and shortbread biscuits to the sound of bagpipes beautifully played by Phill, the evening was topped off with some lively dancing. A fantastic celebration of Scottish culture! 🥃🎶💃

Their visit brought festive cheer, music, and laughter, filling the home with the excitement of the season. 🥰

Our residents had a fantastic day out at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park 🐠🌊

We enjoyed exploring the ocean tunnel and seeing so many fascinating sea creatures. A truly delightful day, full of laughter, wonder, and new discoveries. 💙✨

🎄✨ 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬! ✨🎄⁣

We’re thrilled to reveal the winning designs for this year’s Christmas cards, one of which belongs to our own residents, who collectively created a beautiful wreath design! 💫

We called our design '𝑃𝑖𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝐽𝑜𝑦, 𝐽𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐿𝑜𝑣𝑒- 𝑂𝑛𝑒 𝐵𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑚𝑎𝑠!' - some residents printed, cut, coloured or painted the pieces, while others added glitter, glued them in place, designed the wording, and photographed the final artwork.

We chose a jigsaw wreath to show that Frith House is a welcoming home where everyone belongs. Each piece represents an individual, coming together to create something whole, warm, and inclusive.

Nothing beats homegrown or homemade - whether its pumpkins and squashes in autumn, fruit and flowers in the summer, spring bulbs as the garden wakes up or bird feeders to see our feathered friends through the winter, our residents and gardening club ensure there is colour and interest in the Frith House garden all year round 🎃 🌷 🐤
