Towans Residential Care Home The Towans is a family owned Residential Care Home for the Elderly in Burnham on Sea, Somerset. Located on the coast, many of our rooms have lovely sea views.

We aim to provide the very best Residential care possible, in a comfortable safe and homely environment. Please look around our website and if you would like to know more, please ring our manager or deputy manager on 01278 782642 for more information. Our managers are usually available during normal office hours and will be happy to discuss your needs with you. We understand that if you have not seen a Residential Home before and you find you need to look for one, it can be quite a daunting task. They will help you with any questions about The Towans or Elderly Care in general so you can look for a home for yourself or a loved one who can no longer cope at home or wants the security and company that a Residential Care Home can give, with a bit more confidence. They will also be very happy to explain our service at The Towans and help with any questions you may have without obligation.

On Sunday it was Truus birthday,on Monday we had a full house for bingo and today “Peanut “the PAT dog has had a very busy morning .The residents have enjoyed lots of cuddles,and Peanut knows her role well, as she goes from lap to lap for a cuddle and loves every minute.

Today peanut the PAT dog has been in visiting.She has had lots of cuddles with different residents,and even been taken for walks in the garden.However I think one of her favourite moments was when Dennis sang her the songs from musical bingo.However he sang them both to sleep,bless.

Well it’s been a busy week for our residents, Jo has been on annual leave but the fun hasn’t stopped.

Each morning I have seen a little gaggle of residents playing games or having a discussion followed by afternoon activities and entertainment.

And…. Loads of 1:1’s as well… our little stand in has been a busy bunny!
