Burnham-on-Sea, located in Somerset, England, is home to three notable lighthouses, each with its own unique history and characteristics:

Low Lighthouse: Built in 1832, this iconic nine-legged wooden structure is a Grade II Heritage listed building. It was constructed to complement the High Lighthouse, as the latter's vantage point was too low for some vessels. The Low Lighthouse was inactive between 1969 and 1993 but was reactivated on December 31, 1993. It remains an active aid to navigation today.
