✨ Yesterday I had the privilege of guiding Bex through her Reiki Level One – Shoden.

To be chosen as a teacher in this way is something I feel truly honoured, humbled and deeply grateful for. Reiki is a path of self-discovery and healing, and witnessing someone step into that energy is always a blessing.

Thank you Bex for entrusting me with your journey 💛 Your kindness touched my heart (and how perfect is this bee-utiful card and gift 🌸🐝).

✨ In Honour of Mikao Usui ✨

Today I welcome my first student into the new home of Tranquility Base School of Reiki.

With deep gratitude, I honour Mikao Usui (1865–1926), the founder of Reiki. His vision of natural healing continues to flow through the generations, reaching us here in Burnham-on-Sea, where this centre now holds space for teaching and practice.

With honour, I carry this lineage forward — teaching with integrity, compassion, and light — so that Reiki may continue to touch lives, as Usui-sensei intended.

✨ Mindful Monday ✨

Today I caught a glimpse of myself — not just in the mirror, but in my flow.

Make-up, hair, perfume, jeans, jumper, even the boots pulled from the wardrobe my Dad bought me… and suddenly, I felt alive. Oh so capable. 👩‍💼

As my kids headed out the door to college, they hugged me 🥹 — a reminder that the love and nurturing I’ve poured in is flowing back, through their hugs and the gentle communications I’ve longed for.

Maybe that 90s revive night out was the re-boot I needed — in order to step forward with confidence today.

Sometimes we circle back to step ahead 🌿✨

✨ Reiki journeys are unfolding at Empowering Futures ✨

Today I welcomed the third young person onto their Reiki Level One (Shoden) path. What I love most is how each journey is different — every course is shaped around the individual, supporting not only wellbeing but also building confidence, self-awareness, and future skills.

For some, Reiki becomes a lifelong self-care practice. For others, it can open doors towards employment pathways in health, wellbeing, and therapy, or simply give them the confidence to shine in whichever direction life takes them.

It’s a joy to see these young people step forward with curiosity, courage, and an open heart 🌿💛

From journals and seeds of intention to a space filled with light, love, and possibility… it’s all unfolding.
