It was Mr.j’brithday today and he had the most wonderful time surrounded by all his family and friends . The day was made extra special by MR.B. Who enjoyed a peaceful walk in the garden before returning to MR.Jfor the celebration . Together they shared delicious birthday cake,laughter and a cheerful singalong that make whole day sparkle with happiness 🎂🎂🎂

What a day!! The singers showed up in full swing, the magician had children wide eyed, parents baffled and still one uncle still searching for his watch!
The barbecue worked overtime filling the air with the aroma of sizzling goodness while stalls buzzed with laughter sprinkled with good natured chaos. To top it all we had an absolute joy of celebrating one of our resident’s birthdays too. Residents, families and neighbours and the wider community came together like one big family. Burnham Lodge truly knows how to celebrate with food, fun magic and just the right number of balloon animals.
Here is to more days like this, where memories are made and friendships are formed.

We have had a great time in the garden, enjoying the sunshine while doing some landscape drawings and potting some gorgeous flowers. Meanwhile, Mr J was on watering duty, let’s just say he managed to water not only plants but also the residents sitting nearby,it was a refreshing and hilarious afternoon, bringing a little extra joy to everyone.

🎨 Messy hands, full hearts! A young man bravely entered the arts & crafts zone today with our wonderfully enthusiastic residents… and let’s just say, the paint *situation* got out of hand. (Don’t tell his mum —we sent him home glowing!😂)

All jokes aside, these moments mean the world. Creative fun like this brings joy, sparks memories, and keeps minds active. Plus, who doesn’t love a good excuse to play with paint? 💖👵👨‍🎨👴

Today at the front desk, Mrs. B swapped her slippers for the switchboard and decided to cover for our receptionist—just like old times. She was a receptionist when she was younger and she slipped right back into her old role like no time had passed. A lovely walk down memory lane, with plenty of laughs.

This week the residents of Burnham Lodge were out and about in the minibus driven by Gemma a lovely lady who not only drive us but was very friendly and helpful throughout the week .Events range from boat trips down the Thames where one of our residents was lucky enough to celebrate his birthday with a glass of champagne along side he’s daughter taking in the views .on to the living rainforest warm and wet forest characterised by high rainfalls and a variety of plants and animal life.A historical tour of the Windsor.and a relaxing time pondering around the garden centre taking in the beautiful fragrance of the flowers.It looked like “mrs” tea pot needed a cuppa”. and we took no time in joining her with delicious cakes

This afternoon we were invited to Boulters Lock, we had the most amazing time. Everyone enjoyed the hospitality fun and laughter had by Boulters Lock and Burnham Lodge.

Virtual reality is all the rage here at Burnham Lodge from going on safari to the African plains, to to Joan taking a trip down memory lane visiting the cobbles of London, along with a music concert. What a fabulous afternoons entertainment.
