We are delighted to welcome the Shipibo Shaman from the Peruvian Amazon on Sunday 31st August to our Mind Body Soul Festival in Bingley! This is the first time ever the shaman will have attended any mind body spirit fayre in the UK, sharing their sacred healing ceremonies.
The shaman will be sharing their wonderful healing ceremony and plant medicine songs in our lovely outdoor space. This ceremony will be available to all customers (any donations received will go to the tribes campaign to save the Amazon rainforest).

Join us for a day with Don Julio Urquia, a respected Shipibo Shaman from the Peruvian Amazon with over 27 years of experience working with plant teachers, sharing sacred traditions passed down for generations.
Experience Mapacho smoke cleansing, blessings with florida water and the healing power of unique Icaro medicine songs, melodies taught by the plants themselves.
This real Shamans bring their sacred wisdom to UK communities, sharing ancient healing traditions while raising urgent awareness about Amazon destruction. As corporations and mining devastate their ancestral lands, their mission is preserving cultural heritage through community engagement and alerting the world to environmental catastrophe.
Their message is clear—true wellbeing requires harmony between Humanity and Nature, making protection of indigenous territories essential for global survival.
