Loneliness UK was born from a simple yet powerful moment when my mum noticed an elderly lady sitting alone in a hospital waiting room. It made us realize how many people suffer in silence, feeling isolated and unheard. Our mission is to offer comfort and companionship through letters and online conversations, but running this initiative comes with ongoing costs.
From maintaining a postal address to creating awareness materials and covering online expenses, these costs add up quickly. With the rising cost of living, it’s becoming harder to keep Loneliness UK alive. Your support, no matter how small, can make a huge difference.
