Wow… I don’t think either Vicky or I were prepared for the incredible response to that post. Hundreds of likes, and so many comments and stories that honestly made me stop in my tracks. Thank you, truly, from both of us.

When I started scanning nearly 30 years ago, I never thought it would lead to us running our own family business together. What keeps me going isn’t just the scanning itself (although I still love it!) it’s the people. Every family we meet, every laugh, every tear of relief, every little ‘first glimpse’ moment… those are the memories that make this job the best in the world.

Vicky and I are so proud of what we’ve built with Instascan4dbaby, but it’s you our amazing clients who have really shaped it. Reading how much your experiences here have meant to you is something we’ll never take for granted.

So from both of us thank you for trusting us, thank you for supporting our small family business, and thank you for reminding me exactly why I still love what I do after 29 years (and why retirement is definitely off the cards according to Vicky 😉). ✨ Today marks 29 years since Richard began his career in ultrasound! ✨

From the very beginning, scanning pregnant ladies has always been his favourite part of ultrasound 🤰💙💗. Over the years, Richard has worked in more than 20 obstetric units 🏥 across the country, helping thousands of families see their little ones for the very first time 👶💖.

But Richard’s impact goes far beyond scanning. He has trained and mentored so many people who now work in our health service midwives, nurses, radiographers, doctors and even consultants 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️. He is highly respected in his profession, not just for his technical knowledge, but also for his compassion, empathy and dedication to providing the very best care for families 💕.

🎉 Congratulations Richard on reaching this milestone in your career! Only one more year until the big 30 🥳 and (according to his wife Vicky 😉) he has no plans to retire anytime soon!
