Majestic Care are looking for caring and reliable candidates to cover evening and weekend shifts in either the Burnley or Hyndburn areas.

You'll need your own vehicle for work, and we'll also require satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS.

You don't need any prior experience as we will train you along side our experienced staff , all we ask is that you are caring, compassionate and wanting to make life a little easier for our service user's to remain in their own homes.

*Please note, we do not accept application's from those that can only work between school hours, nor do we currently offer sponsorship's.

We are extremely pleased to share that after our recent CQC inspection, we have maintained our rating of Good 🤩.
It’s not yet been published on the CQC website but we would expect this to be available to read on there in the coming days.

Did you know that 37% of older people who are admitted to hospital are also dehydrated.

Someone with dementia may not recognise that they are thirsty, or they may forget to drink.
They may struggle to get themselves a drink or tell you when they are thirsty.

Here at Majestic care our staff are trained in nutrition and hydration and know the signs to look out for and will always try to encourage our service users to drink more.

We’ve also just received a sample box of Jelly drops and will be giving these out to our service users who we feel may benefit.

💧🍬Jelly drops are sugar free, fruit flavoured water sweets made with 95% water and can provide an easy effective way to boost hydration.

*not suitable for people with swallowing difficulties.

⭐️We recently received some excellent feedback for one of our staff members who is currently working towards her Level 3 qualification in adult care work and was observed by her assessor whilst on a visit. ⭐️

Here’s just a snippet of the feedback we received:

K****’s interaction with the individual was exemplary; showing patience, empathy and a person-centred approach, adapting her communication to meet the individuals needs and supporting them in a calm and reassuring manner.
It is clear she has developed a positive and trusting relationship that promotes independence and dignity.

We are extremely proud of her for this ☺️

Last months thank you gift from the management team to one of our members of staff was this little gift set which was delivered to them & there’s another little gift out for delivery today to a deserving staff member.

If you want an easy Monday – Friday job, don’t apply to be a community carer.

But if you’re already in a boring 9-5 job and getting no job satisfaction, then maybe its time to start thinking of trying something new.

We are looking for carers to work after 4pm and up until 10.30pm daily.

Starting at 4pm means you’ll be mainly preparing meals, administering medication, helping with some personal care, some light domestic duties and helping our service users feel safe and secure for the evening now that the nights are getting darker.
You’ll still get chance to keep up with Corrie and Emmerdale, you’ll just be sat with a service user keeping them company after completing your visit tasks, and you might even have time to enjoy a cuppa with them.
You’ll work with a great bunch of staff and we all work as a team, so you’ll always feel supported. Even if you don’t see any other care staff on your evening shift, you’ve got access to our on-call person for advice and back up.

You’ll need a full driving licence, your own vehicle and a sense of humour, but the main thing is that you actually care about the individuals we support, because lets face it, even though we are skilled, the government don’t see it that way, so the pay isn’t excellent.

We are paid every 4 weeks, and you’ll also receive mileage payments on top, as well as being paid for your travel time between visits.

We cover the Burnley, Pendle and Hyndburn areas so you would be expected to cover all areas at times, so again, if you don’t like driving in the dark or in all weather conditions or on the motorway, this isn’t the role for you
