Today is a quieter day. When I am quiet, I catch up on all my developmental training, which is compulsory for my association.
I love to learn, and today, I will look at osteopetrosis. Why? Because I had a girl come whom has the condition so as I come across conditions I'm unclear of I do a CPD on that subject.

My joints have been pretty bad recently. What have I done differently? I have eaten too much in the way of sugary treats.
This is known to cause inflamation of the joints. I can certainly feel the difference on my joints when bad habits creep in.

I am on my last day of a 90 hour water fast. It wasn't easy yesterday, but other than that, once you get your head around it, it's actually okay 😆
My joints feel so much better the inflamation has gone down, and I can bend my knees again. I wanted to try this as an experiment, and you know what.... it works. I'm not currently pain free, however the improvement is definitely there.

A 90-hour (nearly 4-day) water-only fast is considered a prolonged fast that triggers deep metabolic shifts, moving beyond simple calorie restriction into intense cellular repair, high-level ketosis, and significant metabolic resetting. By the end of this period, the body has depleted its glycogen stores and relies almost entirely on fat for energy. Which is exactly what I needed!!

By day 3, autophagy—the body’s "cellular cleanup" process—reaches significant levels, breaking down old, damaged, or dysfunctional proteins and organelles, which can lower the risk of cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
Prolonged fasting can reduce markers of chronic inflammation (such as C-reactive protein). It also initiates a reset of the immune system by breaking down old white blood cells and stimulating stem cell-based regeneration of new ones.

Consistently observed in studies, 3–4 days of fasting can reduce blood pressure due to reduced sodium intake and increased water excretion. Which my client successfully cured himself of ( he was my encouragement to do this)

The fast can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor, a protein that acts like fertilizer for new neurons, supporting neuroplasticity and brain health.

If I were to purchase an infrared panel. This would be placed over the treatment couch

How many would be interested in using it. There would be a cost due to the outlay of the machine. Possibly discounted with treatments.
