We started the week off in the correct way by playing a few rounds of dominoes, having a good chat and catch up 🥰

Today we started off the day in a relaxing way by colouring in spring themed pictures 🖍️♥️

This afternoon was the main event! We got out a few musical/percussion instruments to experiment with. The steel drums came with song booklets that were too small to see, but the next time we get them out we’ll make sure there’s enlarged sheets so we can have a go at a few 🥁🪇

What a wonderful and cheesy afternoon with fabulous company ♥️🧀
There was literally nothing left! Our residents and a few family members enjoyed sampling different cheeses, enjoyed refreshing beverages, and polished off some grapes and chocolate for a sweet treat after 🍫

This morning, our residents enjoyed a relaxed “choose your own activity” session and what a lovely way to start the day it was! 🎲

The majority chose a relaxing games morning. From games like dominoes to fun rounds of Connect 4 and Jenga, there was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and great teamwork all around.

Even though some of us were new to Connect 4 and Jenga, we quickly got the hang of it celebrating a few wins along the way and showing impressive skill at keeping that Jenga tower standing! 👏

A wonderful morning filled with smiles, encouragement, and a great sense of achievement 💛

🌸🖍️ Spring has officially arrived in our home! Some of our lovely residents got creative over the past few days with some fun colouring sessions. From blooming flowers to cheerful scenes, everyone’s artwork has brought a little extra sunshine into our days! 🌼💛

Wishing you a day full of Eggs and Chocolate as we celebrate Easter!

This afternoon we’ve been getting creative and fully embracing the Easter spirit! 🎨🐣

Residents had a lovely time making paper plate Easter hats 👒 and taking part in a variety of other Easter crafts 🐰🥚🖍️. To top it all off, we also created some beautiful wind chimes, which are now proudly hanging in the tree outside for everyone to enjoy 🌿🎐

A wonderful afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and a touch of springtime magic 💛

We’re busy getting everything ready for tomorrow’s Easter celebration! 🐣🌷

This morning, we had lots of fun decorating some delicious cupcakes, and this afternoon we’ll be adding the final touches with our Easter decorations ready to welcome you all.

On arrival, residents will be enjoying a special Easter afternoon tea-style lunch, and relatives are very welcome to join in and make it even more special 💛

Games will be available from 1:30pm, followed by live entertainment from Gerry Dean starting at 2:00pm 🎶

We can’t wait to celebrate with you all! 🐰✨
