We’re hoping Emily brings some sunshine back from her honeymoon so we can enjoy our planned Mother’s Day walk on 14th March ☀️🚶‍♀️

We also have another fun event planned for Friday 20th March, with games, crafts and challenges for everyone to enjoy. We’re delighted to welcome singer Robin Darcy, who will be joining us for some light entertainment too 🎶🙂

We’ve just come back from a truly lovely morning out ♥️

Our first stop was the canal marina. We were hoping for a brew with a view, but the café was closed. No worries though, as the morning only got better!

We then headed over to HAPPA, where we enjoyed a cuppa, a friendly chat, and of course saying hello to a few beautiful horses 🐴

It was so nice to get out, enjoy some fresh air, and take in the fabulous views around Burnley ☀️

This morning, a few of us enjoyed getting out into the fresh air with a gentle walk — a great way to start the day.

This afternoon was all about relaxation as we treated ourselves to a posh Fox’s biscuit taste test while enjoying a brew and watching Dirty Dancing 🎶💃
After some very serious judging, the triple chocolate cookies and party rings were crowned today’s favourites!

A perfect mix of fresh air, sweet treats and feel-good moments 💛

This morning we enjoyed a few friendly games of Bingo alongside delivering our bi-weekly newsletters to residents 📰🎉

This afternoon we held a successful Residents & Relatives Meeting, where it was decided that future newsletters will be shared electronically with relatives, as well as physically with residents, so everyone can stay up to date with life at Bank Hall 💙

This morning our minibus took a few residents out for a scenic drive around Pendle and Burnley, enjoying familiar sights and sharing happy memories from years gone by. We stopped halfway to soak up a beautiful view of the River Ribble, where we enjoyed a relaxing tea and coffee break ☕️🌿

This afternoon was all about pampering and good company, as a few ladies popped down to listen to some Frank Sinatra, enjoy a brew and a biscuit, and have a lovely chat while being treated to a fresh set of nails 💅🎶

A day full of memories, music, and smiles. 💕

This morning’s weather had us convinced we’d need to cancel our walk, but after lunch the sun made a welcome appearance, so we wrapped up and headed out for a short stroll by the river at Thompson Park ☀️🌿

The wind was quite brisk along the main road, and a few residents decided to head back as it was a bit much for them. Once we reached the park, though, it was lovely and calm with the trees sheltering us from the wind. The three of us who carried on really enjoyed the peaceful walk.

Of course, the sun came fully out just as we got back… typical! 🤣
Still, a short walk, some fresh air, and smiles all round ♥️
