March’s full Moon, called the Worm Moon, will rise this week and dazzle the night sky 🌕
In some parts of the world, the Worm Moon will coincide with a stunning lunar eclipse and for some lucky sky watchers, the moon will turn red during the rare total lunar eclipse, becoming a Blood Moon 🔴
Unfortunately, this celestial phenomenon won’t be visible from the UK, but an impressive full Moon will glow in our skies overnight on both Monday (March 2) and Tuesday (March 3) ✨
Each month has a special nickname for its full Moon. January’s full Moon is known as the Wolf Moon, and February’s full moon is called the Snow Moon.
According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the name ‘Worm Moon’ comes from March signalling the beginning of spring, when earthworms start to appear in the soil and birds and other animals awake from hibernation to feed on them 🪱
This Full Blood Worm Moon Total Lunar Eclipse will provide a spiritual and astrological shift in energy.
It marks a moment of release, purification, and karmic cleansing that invites us to clear space in our lives and come into deeper alignment with our Soul’s path 💫
