Thursdays are for throw backs 2012...

Back in 2012, the team at Opus Pro Audio and Opus Sensory carried out the design and installation of the new Sensory Room at the Family Tree Centre in Brierfield.

The sensory installation included a bubble tube and plinth, fibre optic harness with LED light source, fibre optic LED star ceiling, acrylic mirrors, water wave LED effect, Bluetooth music system, Simon Says Interactive wall panel, glitterball chandelier, 9 way switching panel, UV lighting and padded flooring as well as many other items. The equipment installed totally transformed the room and made it look amazing 😊

If you feel your child's primary school or local SEN HUB would benefit from one of our bespoke Multi Sensory Rooms, please pass on our contact details to your Head Teacher or SENCO.

Remember, the Opus team install new sensory spaces within small spare rooms and areas that would usually never be used. We can see the potential a small area can hold and by using our knowledge, we can bring life to an unused area.

Our room designs comprise of many sensory items which are designed and created by our engineers at Opus Sensory along with audio equipment from our suppliers at AVSL Group Ltd and padded structures from Angus Firth Design.

Over ten years ago, the team at Opus Pro Audio & Opus Sensory carried out the design and installation of a new sensory area at the Chai Care Centre in Burnley.

The sensory installation included a 2m bubble tube, fibre optic harness with LED light source, acrylic mirrors, water wave LED effect, LED star ceiling, Bluetooth music system, 8 way switching panel, UV lighting, ball pool and padding as well as many other items.

The equipment installed totally transformed the room.
Remember, the Opus team install new sensory spaces within small spare rooms and areas that would usually never be used. We can see the potential a small area can hold and by using our knowledge, we can bring life to an unused area.

Ever since the team at Opus Pro Audio and Opus Sensory began creating our amazing sensory rooms we have always strived forward to create new and exciting products for our customers.
One of our most popular designs has always been the 'Mirror ball Chandelier'.

As a twist on the traditional mirror ball look, the chandelier has three different sized mirror balls that all rotate using individual 1/2 RPM motors that create a slow, calming feeling of movement instead of the faster traditional mirror balls. Then we added a halo of light above the mirror balls which really sets the effect off and once installed (usually towards the edge or corner of a room) it makes the 'Mirror ball Chandelier' stand out in any sensory room.
You can see from the pictures that the chandelier really looks fantastic 🤩

For over 16 years the sensory team at Opus Sensory have designed and installed new sensory areas and equipment at White Ash Primary School, carrying out more sensory services and installation work last year.

Our work over the years has included audio systems, lighting systems and of course a number of sensory area installations that included bubble tubes, mirror ball chandeliers, LED infinity tunnels, LED fibre optics and much more.

Did you know...

A survey carried out indicated a high percentage of businesses lack functional hearing loop systems. Research by the Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) found that up to 80% of shops are not accessible for hearing aid users. Other audits revealed only 13% to 17% of surveyed locations, including new buildings, had functioning loop systems, meaning over 80% lacked them.

The RNID is warning businesses they may be breaking the law by not having working hearing loops.

At Opus Sensory we specialize in Induction Loop System installations.

Induction loop systems are used to assist the hearing impaired by transmitting sound from a sound system, microphone, television or other source, directly to a hearing aid equipped with a telecoil or 'T' position 😊

They are available in many different formats - Portable for one-to-one or small group use or fixed systems which may typically be counter, perimeter or low spill systems.

We are able to provide technical support and information to enable you to carry out all stages of your project, from initial design to completed installation.
