Suddenly at his home in Burntisland, on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, George, past master of Lodge Dunearn No400, aged 83 years, beloved husband of Rose, loving dad of Kenny and Martin, dear father-in-law of Caron and Donna, devoted papa of Chloe and Emily and great papa of Abel and Layla. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Monday 23rd February at 12.45pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please . Donations in memory of George may be given at the service for Cancer Research if so desired.

Suddenly at his home in Burntisland, on Tuesday, 20th January 2026, John, aged 79 years, Beloved husband of Lorraine, loving dad, grandad and great grandad also a dear brother. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Wednesday 18th February at 11.45am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of John may be given at the service for Alzheimer Scotland if so desired.

Peacefully at her home in Burntisland, on Friday, 30th January 2026, Anne, aged 82 years, beloved wife of the late Ian, loving mum of Dawn, Paul and Susanne, dear mother-in-law of Karen and Isobel, loved gran of Francesca and Harvey. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service will be private at Anne’s request.

Christine and all the family would like to thank all relatives’ friends and neighbours for all the cards, messages and kind words received after their sad loss of Ian.
Sincere thanks to Victoria Hospital staff of wards 43, 41, 6 and the Paramedics who attended to Ian many times, the Kelty District nurses, Integrity carers, Crossgates Medical Practice and Careoligy Day Centre for all their dedicated care and attention given to Ian.
Special thanks to Darren Rankin for his lovely and comforting service, Rankin funeral Directors Burntisland for all their personal care with the funeral arrangements. Thanks to The Strathearn Hotel for their hospitality and service. Lastly, thank you to everyone who paid their last respects at the Crematorium and who generously donated to the collection in Ian’s memory for the Salvation Army which amounted to £718.61.

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy, on Saturday 17th January 2026, Sandy, aged 84 years, of Burntisland Old Port, originally Auchtertool, loving father of Mark and Gail, a much loved and devoted grandad and great grandad, dear friend to many. He will be sorely missed. A Burntisland Legend.

Funeral service to be held at Burntisland Parish Church, on Wednesday 4th February, at 10.00am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter to Burntisland Cemetery for 11am.

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy on Thursday 15th January 2026, Abigail Audrey Little (Abi), aged 53 years, of Burntisland, beloved daughter of Alison Anderson and the late Michael Little, loving mum of Neva K. Thomson, devoted sister of Kerry, loved stepdaughter of Mary, she will be very sadly missed.

Funeral service at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on Friday 6th February at 1.30pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Abi may be given at the service for Cerebral Palsy Scotland, if so desired.

With a heavy heart the family wish to announce the passing of Iona, on Sunday 4th January 2026, aged 27 years of Burntisland, beloved daughter of Kevin and Michelle, doting mummy of Noah, loving sister of Molly and Oliver, also a much loved and cherished granddaughter, niece and friend to many. She will be sadly missed and forever loved.

Celebration of Iona’s life to be held at Erskine Church Burntisland on Friday 30th January at 10.00am to which all family and friends are respectfully invited thereafter to Burntisland Cemetery for 11am. Donations in memory of Iona may be given at the service for charity close to the family’s heart, if so desired.

She will be sadly missed.

Please wear a splash of colour or a scarf, as scarfs were Allison's favourite accessory. Donations in memory of Allison may be given at the service for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, if so desired.
