Self-Care Sunday Yoga - May 24th

The theme for Mental Health Awareness this year is action…

So instead of spiralling, overthinking, or saying “I’ll rest later” for the 47th time please come to Self-care Sunday and actually do something nice for your brain.

Join me for a slow, feel-good yoga session where the only goal is to chill out a bit.

We’ll breathe, stretch, and attempt to switch off for a whole 90 minutes (no promises, but we’ll try).

A small bit of real action for your mental health - just doing something for yourself.

I’ve made a really difficult decision to stop teaching my classes on Monday at Clarity House of Massage and Thursday evenings. However, I’m starting a new class at Breathe Yoga, Pilates & Wellness in Dunfermline and Fife on Sundays 4pm-5pm.

Starting on 19th April we have a six week block. Some weeks we’ll turn up the heat and move through a more challenging, dynamic flow. Other weeks, we’ll slow things right down with a chilled, restorative practice. If you know me, you’ll know I love to keep things moving most of the time - but there will always be options, space to pause, and permission to take it at your own pace.

One thing I can guarantee is plenty of laughs…..usually at my expense (left and rights are still a work in progress).

More than anything, this class is about showing up, moving your body, and being part of a group that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Somehow, it always seems to attract the best kind of people—those who love this practice, have a sense of humour, and aren’t afraid to just be themselves.

If this year has already been a lot and your nervous system could do with a wee break, this is your invitation.

Join me for a cosy, gentle, no-pressure self-care session where we will slow right down, breathe, soften, and reset. The focus is on doing very little on purpose and leaving feeling calmer than when we arrived.

This isn't about flexibility, fitness, or doing things “right”. It's about lying down, being held by the space, and giving your body a proper exhale.

Just a little reminder that January’s Self-Care Sunday is coming up on 4th January.

12.30–2.00 @ Breathe Yoga, Pilates & Wellness in Dunfermline and Fife
3.30–5.00 The Space Upstairs in Burntisland

Each session is 90 minutes of gentle stretching, breathwork, restorative yoga and meditation.
Our theme will be setting intentions for 2026 - a calm, nourishing way to begin the year.

We’ll move slowly, breathe deeply, and take mindful pauses to acknowledge what we’ve learned and let go of what no longer serves us.
