If you’re expecting your baby over the festive period, please remember this 💛

You deserve the birth and postnatal experience you want, regardless of the time of year!

Nothing about your care, your choices, or your boundaries needs to change just because it’s Christmas 🎄

A few gentle reminders:

🌲 No pressure – you don't have to attend ALL of the Christmas events if you’re tired, uncomfortable, or simply not feeling up to it. Rest is productive 🥰

🌲 Set loving boundaries – Those early days are precious. You don't have to have loads of visitors if you don't want to, even if they’re bringing gifts 😆 Your healing and bonding come first.

🌲 Festive busyness is not a medical reason for induction. Staffing issues, bed pressures, or being told you should be induced “so you can be home for Christmas” are not reasons you have to accept.
Learn about induction, the system, your options, ask questions, and advocate for the birth that feels right for you.

Your baby doesn’t care what day it is on the calendar and neither should the maternity system 🤶🏼🎁

This month I've had some lovely 1-2-1 hypnobirthing sessions, 's Bump & Baby Fayre and I went along to .lichfield 's first event with my youngest 🥰 throw in a 5th birthday and toddler life kicking my butt and it's been a busy month!

5 whole years of being a Mom and watching him grow up into a wonderful person! 5 years since experiencing birth for the first time which led me to this work I adore 💛
