World breastfeeding in public day 🤱🏼✨

It can be so daunting to breastfeed in public for some, especially in those first days/weeks when you're both still figuring it out!

You have the right to feed your baby and if using a cover makes YOU feel good then that's great but you don't have to and no one should ever tell you otherwise.

Breastfeeding friendly clothes or the one up, one down method (a vest top you can pull down/a top you can pull up) can be great for making you feel comfortable and making access easier.

Hopefully as time goes on you'll be feeding baby wherever and whenever without giving it a second thought 🥰🤱🏼👩🏼‍🍼🍼

Our next Pregnancy Social at Spark is next Wednesday (11th). Expectant parents are invited to join us for a relaxed evening to chat, connect, share experiences and prepare for life with baby. Whether it’s your first pregnancy or your fifth, you’ll find a warm welcome, a cuppa, and friendly faces.

✨ Emma, who volunteers at our Pregnancy Socials, will also be sharing gentle relaxation and comfort techniques for labour, drawing on her experience through her Love Birth work.

Waiting for labour can be hard, no matter how positive and patient your trying to be.

My first birth was 40+6 and yet I was still convinced he might come early 🙈

I knew I wouldn't want an induction for simply being 'overdue' and I was very happy with my decision. But it's still hard to wait as your due date comes and goes and you're uncomfortable so I really had to practice what I preach and trust that things would happen when my body was ready 😆

Maxie is 2 next week...he kept me waiting another 6 days after this photo 🥰
