The Residents had lots of fun during our Gardening Club this morning. We have made fat balls for the animals and we seeded some watercress. In the afternoon we enjoyed target games and 60s music. Some of our Residents enjoyed solving crosswords and worsearches too.

The Residents, relatives and staff enjoyed the letter game this afternoon. We managed to find 53 words from 7 letters (t,a,e,c,h,r,e).

The Residents enjoyed their yoga session this morning and dominoes session in the afternoon.

The Residents and staff enjoyed writing wishes for our new wish tree this morning. In the afternoon the Residents enjoyed relaxing doing jigsaw puzzles and solving wordsearches.

The Residents enjoyed their hand and nail pampering session and being visited by the hairdresser yesterday. This morning we loved our baking session and art and craft session in the afternoon.

The Residents enjoyed a game of snakes and ladders this morning, well done to our winner - Janet. In the afternoon we enjoyed our exercises - armchair yoga for seniors.

The Residents enjoyed building a snowman and looking at animals in the garden.

The Residents enjoyed their dominoes session yesterday. Today we have been busy doing armchair yoga and dancing with scarves this morning and solving crosswords and wordsearch puzzles in the afternoon.

The Residents enjoyed their activities last few days. On Sunday we enjoyed feeding animals in the garden. On Monday we were busy playing target games. Today we celebrated National Shortbread Day and played game play your cards right . Well done to our winner- Audrey.

The Residents enjoyed relaxing and listening to music during our hand and nail pamper session. One of our Residents - Audrey loved spending time with her daughter sitting in the garden relaxing with a hot chocolate.

Our Story

Hammerwich Hall is an impressive private building that has been extended and modernised in a sympathetic way to preserve many of the home's original features such as the high, corniced ceilings in the dining room. There are four unique lounges, one of which is a vintage tea room.

Thanks to our team of experienced and highly trained carers, we're able to offer a wide spectrum of care plans. As well as residential care, we can also provide convalescence, respite and pop-in day care. We also care for those aged between 50-65 with physical disabilities, as well as residents who have had a stroke.
