Whilst parking at certain times can always be harder than it needs to be, we have mapped out the best parking spots for you to access our new clinic✨

Closest parking:
Victoria Street (extremely limited) - 1 minute (50m) walk.
Burscough Wharf - 1 minute (100m) walk.
Mill Lane car park - 2 minutes (250m) walk.
Tesco car park - 4 minutes (350m) walk.

Please allow enough time to park up and walk across to the clinic. We’re based on the second floor - if you need to use the lift, please make us aware of this when booking your appointment using the link in our bio.

📣 WHAT IS IASTM?

As many of you have seen, I have recently completed my Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) course. IASTM therapy provides a mobilising stimulus to the affected soft tissue structures in order to facilitate the healing process in the injured areas and improve overall mobility and function.

Wow, what an opportunity🤯.

Very grateful for the last 4 weeks.

From spending days in surgery to rehabilitating patients in a state of the art gym🏋🏼 Working alongside and learning from some of the best physiotherapists, knee specialists, orthopaedic surgeons and podiatrists in Auckland and NZ, definitely one I’ll remember🇳🇿🇳🇿

Now to switch off for a few weeks and do a bit of travelling myself before coming back home and getting back to work👊🏼💪🏼

Thank you all for your continued support, I’m looking forwards to getting back to treat you all - big things are coming!

‼️Out of office‼️

As many of you know, I am entering the final hurdle of my Physiotherapy degree. I have been very fortunate to be offered the opportunity to go and work in a private orthopaedic clinic in Auckland, New Zealand to further develop my clinical skills and finish the last few weeks of my degree.

As a result, I will unfortunately be out of the office for the next few weeks. Don’t worry, I will be back😂

I will also be using the time away to set up an online booking system and the link will be in my bio when my diary is back open📆📲

Get your football fix this weekend at Richmond Park⚽️⚽️

Tomorrow sees us entertain Blackpool Wren Rovers at Richmond Park with a 3pm KO.
The visitors are always a tough opponent and come into the game on the back of a fine 1-5 away win at Hurst Green.
We will hope to make it 3 wins out of 3.
The club house is open from 1pm.
Given another lovely afternoon, hopefully the wind dies down a bit and we should see a great game.

Meet Josh. Josh is one of the Sports Therapist here at VOLT. He graduated 8 years ago with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy from Edge Hill University and is currently doing his second degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Central Lancashire. 💥

Josh obtained his L4 Sports Massage qualification 10 years ago and has been working in the sporting industry ever since. 👌

Josh has worked in all levels of football, from amateur to elite level and also has
experience in an elite rugby environment.

He started Knot Again 2 years ago and although having a particular sporting CV, offers a wide and comprehensive approach to all abilities whether your injured and need a tailored rehabilitation programme or you’re just after some general maintenance and your monthly MOT.

For those of you that don’t know, I will moving clinic locations and be working out of from Monday 6th May. This has potential to be the world worst kept secret 😂😂

For those of you that don’t know me, I’m Josh. I’ve been a graduate Sports Therapist for 8 years and I’m currently doing another degree in Physiotherapy🫁💪🏼

I work with a variety of clientele, from elite athletes to the general public and provide a comprehensive approach to treatment, whether it’s a tailored rehabilitation programme or just your weekly/monthly MOT⚒️
