We're super excited to be partnering with the wonderful team at All About Football!
Over the past few years, we've seen the positive impact that taking part in sport can have on mental health, so we really do recognise the importance of having accessible spaces and opportunities for people to come and take part.
A member of our team will be attending the All About Football Mondays sessions (6pm to 8pm) at Shobnall to chat to anyone who needs it in a safe, confidential environment.
Hopefully, we will see you there!
NEW SUPPORT AT AAF 💙
We’re really proud to announce that All About Football has partnered with Burton and District Mind the local mental health charity.
For the next 11 weeks, Burton Mind will have a mental health representative at our Monday sessions at Shobnall (6pm–8pm).
If anyone ever wants to talk about any aspect of mental health, there will be a private room available where you can speak completely confidentially.
They’ll also be around before and after the sessions sharing advice, information, and practical tips about looking after your mental wellbeing.
You don’t have to be playing football to come
along, if you just want to chat, ask questions, or learn more, you’re very welcome.
This is a brilliant initiative and completely free to use.
We all know people don’t talk enough, and male mental health support can often be lacking. Hopefully this is another small step in making football a place where people feel comfortable talking and supporting each other.
If you have any questions just drop me a message.
