Modwena Orthodontics is in a Grade II listed building overlooking the River Trent, with public transport links nearby and several car parks just a short walk away.

If you’re coming in for a consultation, it’s genuinely worth giving yourself a couple of extra minutes. The town centre view is a lovely part of Burton, and arriving without rushing makes the whole appointment feel calmer too 😊

🥪 Can I eat with aligners in?
In most cases, aligners are removed for meals and for hot drinks. That helps protect your aligners and keeps everything feeling fresher.

🗣️ Will I lisp?
Some people notice a slight change at first, especially in the first few days. Most adjust quickly with a bit of practice and regular wear.

🦷 What are attachments?
Small tooth-coloured shapes that help aligners grip and move teeth more predictably. Not everyone needs them, and we’ll always explain why they’re recommended for your plan.

At Modwena Orthodontics, payment options are discussed with our Treatment Coordinator after your specialist assessment, once we know what your plan actually involves. That way you’re not guessing, and you’re not trying to match your budget to a treatment you haven’t properly explored yet.

Options can include:
💳 Tabeo finance, including 18 months at 0% interest if accepted
📅 Longer terms may be available at interest
🧾 An in-house option of three staged payments, spaced over 12 months

We’ll talk you through what fits your treatment plan and your budget, without pressure and without jargon. You can take your time to decide.

A simple braces care kit can make the day-to-day feel much easier, especially for school or work. Here’s what we recommend keeping in a small pouch:

🪥 travel toothbrush + toothpaste
🦷 interdental brushes
✨ orthodontic wax
💧 water or a mini mouth rinse
🪞 small mirror (optional, but genuinely handy)

It’s not about perfect. It’s about making the basics easy to stick to.
