🏆 Introducing one of our Community Champions, Y.E.S Project! 🏆
Powered by DanceHub CIC, The Y.E.S Project (Youth Empowered Space) provides free Dance and Movement sessions for inactive and disadvantaged young people (7-17 years) across Sussex ✨
Based at K2 Crawley, The Y.E.S Project uses Dance and Movement to help disadvantaged young people overcome challenges, get active, and reach their potential!
Y.E.S clubs involve weekly Dance and Movement sessions, led by professional coaches, assisted by trainee teachers (former Y.E.S participants) 🤸
So far, they have supported 1000+ young people across 38 clubs in Brighton, Crawley, and Hastings!
Jade, Teacher and Crawley Lead, said: DanceHub are proud to be part of the Everyone Active Community Champions Scheme.
“We applied to create new opportunities for young people by utilising one of Crawley’s most iconic community spaces. Through this partnership, we’re expanding access to Dance, Movement, and leadership programmes that empower the next generation.
“We hope our role as a Community Champion not only inspires pride and achievement among the young people involved but also gives them the recognition they deserve within their local community!”
Together with the Everyone Active Champions scheme, we can’t wait to see The Y.E.S Project inspire and support even more young people ⭐
