Meet our lovely Clinical Audiologist and Aesthetic Medicine practitioner.

Farhana Khanum
BSc(hons) Healthcare Science (Audiology) RHAD HCPC registered BAA accredited

Farhana is an NHS Senior Audiologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council(HCPC). She completed her Healthcare Science degree at the University of Leeds in 2016 and has over 10 years of experience working in the NHS. Farhana has extensive expertise in managing both adults and children with a wide range of hearing difficulties. Her role includes conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing conditions, fitting and managing hearing aids, as well as providing rehabilitation and support for more complex hearing concerns.

Farhana has also trained alongside medical professionals at the world-renowned Derma Institute, gaining advanced expertise in skin rejuvenation treatments. Farhana is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in both clinical audiology and aesthetic medicine. She is committed to ensuring the safety, well-being, and confidence of every client she treats.

I’m a paediatric nurse specialising in CAMHS, with over 15 years of experience in Chinese medicine. I focus on musculoskeletal issues, having worked with athletes and West End performers to help them recover and perform at their best. I bring my nursing expertise to paediatric patients, using acupuncture in the gentlest, non-invasive ways possible. I also offer creative, family-friendly approaches—treating mums while their babies are nearby, using techniques like ‘tuina ’ for children, or acupuncture for mum to support the whole family’s wellbeing.

Acupuncture can offer gentle, holistic support for children and young people with mental health and emotional problems, helping to ease stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, and physical tension. By promoting relaxation and balance, it can complement traditional therapies, giving young patients a safe, non-invasive way to support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

Farhana is an NHS Senior Audiologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council(HCPC). Her role includes conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing conditions, fitting and managing hearing aids, as well as providing rehabilitation and support for more complex hearing concerns.

Ear Wax Removal service: Farhana uses safe, effective, and comfortable methods for removing excessive earwax, which can cause discomfort, hearing loss, tinnitus, and infections. Including microsuction, warm water irrigation and dry removal tools. Microsuction allows for clear visibility of the ear canal during the procedure, ensuring precision and safety – suitable for perforated eardrums and mastoid cavities.

Farhana works on:-
Tuesday 2.30pm - 6.30pm
Friday 2.30pm - 6.30pm
Saturday 8am - 3pm

We have a new Acupuncturist starting today! Welcome to the team Lubos Tranta.

Lubos is a highly experienced practitioner who combines the clinical knowledge of Western medicine with the holistic principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Over the years he has supported a wide range of patients from NHS patients to performers helping them restore balance, vitality and wellbeing.

As a teacher of Traditional Chinese Medicine across Europe, Lubos has shared not only practical techniques but also a philosophy that views the body as whole and interconnected. He brings this integrative approach to every patient focusing on individualised care to help you feel your best.

As 2025 draws to a close, we would like to say goodbye to two absolute stars who have worked on reception at the Centre for 16 and 10 years respectively, Nicky Reddin and Lesley Oades.
�Nicky is beginning a new chapter as she opens her own reformer Pilates studio in Stretton, Sorella Studios. We are so proud of her, and we are loving that she is smashing it, right from day 1, just 6 weeks ago.

And Lesley is easing into a very well-earned retirement — swapping ringing phones and urgent requests, for lie-ins, family moments and cups of tea. Thank you Lesley for years of patience, organisation, and supporting us all.
