Hello May, well where did April go!
Time to get your sunscreen and sunny hats on for this lovely weather we're having. Its a fabulous day.
May is National Walking month, why not get those trainers on and have a wonder around a park or along the beautiful river Trent.
Later in May is Sun awareness week on the 12th-18th May, please take every precaution to stay safe in the heat.

April is Stress Awareness month.

Stress Awareness Month aims to improve the way in which we manage our personal stress, whether that be in our personal lives or at work. We all experience different levels of stress from time to time.

People suffer pressure as part of our usual everyday lives, but we need to be aware and manage a healthy level of pressure effectively to prevent it having a negative impact on our mental and physical wellbeing. Regular and high levels of stress should not be ignored and needs attention.

Signs of stress can include anxiety, fatigue, loneliness, headaches, sleep problems, irritability, panic attacks and generally feeling overwhelmed.

There are things we can do to help manage our stress levels:

Eat healthily
Go outside for a walk and get some fresh air
Good sleep hygiene to promote better quality sleep
Connecting with people to talk about our feelings
Take an interest in new hobbies and interests
Be physically active, maybe join a gym

Sports and Rehabilitation Therapist at The Natural Healthcare Centre.

Introducing the lovely Paul Fleming, Paul has been with us at The Natural Healthcare Centre around a year now and is busy helping so many people with pain management, back/neck pain relief, soft tissue damage and many other muscular skeletal injuries.

Paul is a top quality Sports and Rehabilitation Therapist with experience of all movement related muscular skeletal injuries and conditions. From top sport and athletic performers to back pain from gardening, housework, DIY or lifting, Paul will assess and treat effectively, then design a bespoke rehabilitation program with exercises.

He is available on Tuesday mornings 8am-12pm, Thursday evenings 5-9pm and Saturday afternoon 3pm - 7pm.
