Katie, our fabulous frame stylist (rocking her non-prescription Dirty Jacksons 😍), dropped off all the donations purchased with the raffle proceeds to burtonhope2017.

Because of your generosity, we were able to contribute meaningfully to their fantastic work. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 💜

Burton Hope do an amazing job in our community. Their team of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to alleviate the effects of poverty in Burton upon Trent. Whether it’s providing 3-day emergency food parcels, clothing, basic utensils, toiletries, sanitary products, or helping people obtain essential identification documents (which are so important here in the UK), they step up selflessly. They also offer vital support to those facing mental health challenges or addiction – doing everything they can to help people in need.

🌟 A huge thank you from the heart today🌟

We recently had the privilege of helping one of our lovely patients in a way that went far beyond glasses and eye tests.

During a routine eye examination, our brilliant optometrist Karamdeep noticed a suspicious marking on the gentleman’s nose. He didn’t hesitate – he advised him to see his GP right away. Thankfully, the doctor acted quickly- it turned out to be cancerous, and thankfully it was caught early. The gentleman is now awaiting surgery to have it removed and doing well.

He came back in specially to say thank you – with the biggest smile – and told us he never would have known if Karamdeep hadn’t spotted it during that simple eye check.
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about clear vision… it’s about caring for the whole person and routine check can sometimes save a life💙

A massive shout-out to Karamdeep for his sharp eyes and kind heart – you truly make a difference every single day.
