Mazes represent a fantastic way of developing an understanding of some of the hidden aspects of our nature. They also provide us with a way of exploring some of our choices and dead ends. Many people love exploring them, and pitching their wits against them.

Maze Therapy™ is a therapy tool developed by David Moat, following breakthrough work with one of his clients.

Many of us will have enjoyed tracing our way through a maze at some point in their lives, often as children – whether it be on paper, or physically walking through one such as that found at Hampton Court Palace.

Tracing a maze can be a very mindful exercise. Maze Therapy™ takes it further, and deeper, enabling clients to experience a release from long-term difficulties. It can be used as a therapeutic tool in its own right or can be integrated into existing approaches.

Therapeutics breakthroughs can occur when clients realise that aspects of their lives are more like a maze than a straight line, and that, just like any maze, there is always a solution.

David has developed a one-day creative course demonstrating how Maze Therapy™ can be used as a stand-alone therapeutic resource, or incorporated into other therapeutic approaches.

I’m delighted to announce - finally - my long awaited one day workshop on the use of the metaphor of the house, in therapy. This will be on Zoom but hands on and content rich, full of creative ideas too, to help your clients work with the metaphor of the house to explore their journeys and insights.
