Our very own Sue Bird has been filling the halls with music, singing for our residents straight from the heart. 🎶💐 It’s not just a song—it’s love, joy, and comfort wrapped up in every note.

The smiles on our residents’ faces say it all. Moments like these remind us how special it is to create a home filled with laughter, care, and a touch of magic. ✨

Velcro strips / zipppers
Buttons to fasten/unfasten
Snaps or poppers
Shoe laces for tying/untying
Beads on a string or abacus sliders
Soft fabric patches (fleece, silk, corduroy, denim)
Ribbon loops or tassels
Small rubber or wooden wheels to spin
Rotary phone dial or cogs

🌸 a round up of my first two weeks at St Peter’s

What a wonderful start it has been!
Lots of smiling faces welcomed me each day 😊

I discovered a whole new corridor I hadn’t seen before 🚪😂 (the home is huge!)

I’ve heard so many kind words being spoken between residents and staff 💕

Family and friends of residents have taken the time to introduce themselves and share their stories, which has meant so much 😊

And whenever I had questions (there has been many) nothing was ever too much trouble 🙌

I’m really looking forward to the journey ahead. Grateful to be part of such a warm and caring community. 💖
