Our amazing residents have been putting their thinking caps on and getting stuck into some word search puzzles and they were absolutely loving it! 🌟

From Arctic Animals to all kinds of tricky letter grids, our ladies were fully focused and determined to find every last word! 🔍✏️

Activities like these are so important to us here at The Beeches. Not only are they great fun, but they help keep minds sharp, boost concentration and give our residents a wonderful sense of achievement. 💪

We are so proud of each and every one of our residents and they never fail to inspire us! ❤️

☕ What a lovely morning out for some of our residents! 🌸

We took three of our wonderful residents to the local chapel for a coffee morning this week, and what a treat it was! It's always so lovely to get out and about in the community, enjoy a warm drink and share some smiles. 😊

A big thank you to our dedicated carers for making the trip possible and ensuring everyone had a wonderful time. Moments like these are what it's all about! 💛

The wonderful residents here have been bringing beautiful spring flowers to life this week with some relaxing colouring activities! 🎨

From daffodils to bluebells and tulips, it's been lovely to see everyone so engaged and enjoying some peaceful creative time together. Colouring is such a brilliant activity for relaxation and wellbeing - and they've done a fantastic job! 🌼🌷

Last week, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the wonderful David's birthday! 🥳

David was treated to a gorgeous cake complete with candles to blow out - and what a moment it was! It's always such a joy to mark these special milestones together, and David's smile said it all. 😊

☕ What a lovely morning! Our residents Tom and Ann had a wonderful time at the Ixworth Methodist Church coffee morning today - enjoying a warm cuppa and great company with the local community.

It's so important to stay connected, and days like these remind us just how much joy a simple chat over coffee can bring. A huge thank you to everyone at Ixworth Methodist Church for the warm welcome! 💛

Here at The Beeches Residential Home, we specialise in all aspects of dementia care.

While providing high-quality care is at the heart of what we do, it’s the personal and considerate delivery that makes us special.

Situated in the picturesque village of Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds, our Grade ll listed home supports a small community of 44 residents. Our priority is in delivering care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person, providing both physical and mental stimulation aimed specifically at those living with dementia.

Our facilities have been tastefully adapted to provide easy access for those with lower mobility, providing suitable wheelchair access along with a lift to all floors. All of our rooms have top of the range facilities to make sure residents are comfortable, including TV points, en-suite facilities and comfortable furnishings.
