We love getting the residents together for some drinks, snacks and a good natter!

Encouraging residents to come together, share stories and enjoy an experience together can help boost morale and maintain cognitive and social skills.

We had such a wonderful time at our Teddy Bears' picnic recently! 🧸

Our residents loved getting outside to enjoy the lovely weather with their cuddly companions. We had a great time with some outdoor games, including a lively parachute game and a beanbag toss. ⚾

It was a day full of smiles, laughter and sunshine! 🌞

🥳 What a fantastic week it's been here at The Beeches! We've been buzzing with birthday cheer, donning our party hats to celebrate two of our wonderful residents marking amazing milestones.

❤️ Last Friday, our lovely Sylvia celebrated her fabulous 90th birthday with plenty of cake and smiles all around! And just the other day, we had the immense pleasure of seeing the wonderful Maureen celebrate her 89th birthday!

How delicious do those cakes look?! 😋🎂

We hope both Sylvia and Maureen had the happiest of birthdays, celebrating with their friends, family, and loved ones! Wishing them both a year ahead that's just as wonderful as they are, filled with good health, laughter, and everything their hearts desire. Cheers to two wonderful ladies, and many more happy birthdays! 🥂🎈

We had a lovely afternoon with our residents today, playing "Guess What's Inside the Bag." 👜

It was wonderful to see their expressions as they used their sense of touch to discover the mystery items, leading to some lovely conversations and moments of connection. ✨

Here at The Beeches Residential Home, we specialise in all aspects of dementia care.

While providing high-quality care is at the heart of what we do, it’s the personal and considerate delivery that makes us special.

Situated in the picturesque village of Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds, our Grade ll listed home supports a small community of 44 residents. Our priority is in delivering care that maintains the dignity and individuality of each person, providing both physical and mental stimulation aimed specifically at those living with dementia.

Our facilities have been tastefully adapted to provide easy access for those with lower mobility, providing suitable wheelchair access along with a lift to all floors. All of our rooms have top of the range facilities to make sure residents are comfortable, including TV points, en-suite facilities and comfortable furnishings.
