WOOLPIT PHARMACY: PRIVATE COVID-19 VACCINATIONS

Covid-19 is still circulating within the population and regular vaccination is one of the best ways to protect yourself from infection and complications.

Covid-19 vaccination is only available on the NHS to specific groups of patients (the over 75s and those with supressed immune systems): If you are eligible for NHS vaccination you should have already been contacted.

If you are not eligible for NHS covid vaccination but still want to protect yourself then Woolpit Pharmacy is able to offer this as a private service to the over 12s. Please contact the pharmacy for more information; we can arrange a telephone consultation with one of our pharmacists to ensure the vaccine is suitable for you and then arrange a time and date for your vaccination appointment.

Take a moment to consider your repeat prescription needs taking into account the time needed by your GP practice to process a repeat prescription request and for the pharmacy to dispense.

📣Important Notice

From Monday 24th of March our repeat medication ordering process is undergoing a change to a digital system.

We shall no longer be providing repeat slips for you to order with.

For your next repeat medication request please order via:

1. The NHS App - the App is the most efficient way to order your medication and for our clerk team to quickly process.

2. Hand Written - clearly write your medication request on paper with your name/address/Date of Birth on it, including the name of the medication required and drop it into one of our post boxes.

3. Via our telephone line - 01359 240298 option 3, this phone line is open Monday to Friday between 9am and 1pm.

All repeat medication requests are to be placed 7 days before running out.

If you know you have been given a date for your next repeat collection this will remain, the new way of ordering your next repeat will then be via one of the above options.
