I’m passionate about taking a holistic approach when it comes to my clients - treating the whole person and not just the symptoms or conditions, so that we can get to the root cause of your health and well-being issues. By working in this way we can aim for a long-term, if not permanent, positive change.
I’m a qualified Bowen Therapist, Reflexologist and Reiki Healer, working from my treatments rooms in Woolpit and in the heart of historic Bury St Edmunds. While these treatments use different approaches, their aim is the same, to encourage the body’s own innate ability to heal and balance itself. I provide a safe and secure environment in which to explore these therapies, and to find out how they can support you.
I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council for my work as a Bowen Therapist and Reflexologist, and I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and the College of Bowen Studies.
Bowen and Fascia Bowen: is a painless, gentle treatment, suitable for any age. Truly holistic in its approach, it works with the whole body, getting to the root cause of your situation or condition rather than just focusing on the symptoms. The light and gentle moves used kick start the body’s own innate ability to heal itself, and for many of my clients the results have been profound and quick, with most needing no more than 3 treatments.
Reflexology: By stimulating and massaging points on the feet or hands that correspond to points in the body, I work with your own body's ability to restore balance and harmony. For some the benefit of a Reflexology treatment can be as simple as relaxation, for others it can help with stress and anxiety, or specific issues like back pain or migraines. With fertility treatment on the NHS more difficult to obtain, many people are also coming for conception / fertility reflexology.
Reiki: A beautifully relaxing treatment, this gentle, largely hands-off treatment harnesses the wonderful energy that surrounds us all. This is, I have to confess, my go-to therapy for re-charging my batteries, however many people also use it effectively to support them with aches and pains, stress, anxiety, low moods and lack of energy.
A Little Bit About Me
A mum of 3, including my step-daughter, I used to work within local government and education before becoming a therapist. Suffolk born and bred, with a family that’s been around for at least a couple of hundred years, I returned back home after 15 years travelling and working around the world, including London and Hong-Kong.
I’m a huge believer in fate, the universe and all things wonderful!
