Davers Court care home in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, is a modern, purpose-built facility that provides residential, dementia and short-term respite care for older people in beautiful surroundings. The Suffolk home has stunning lounges, a modern café, a cinema room and a hair and beauty salon. As well as en-suite bedrooms, the home has lovely award-winning gardens for residents to enjoy. Alongside luxury facilities, residents can enjoy a busy and varied activities programme, organised by the homes dedicated lifestyle team. The team take the time to get to know each resident and tailor every aspect of their care, from the menu to the activities on offer, to ensure the care provided is unique to their individual needs and preferences.

A Spectacular Taste of China at Davers Court! 🏮🐎
​We galloped straight into the Year of the Horse this evening with a magnificent Chinese New Year celebration! Our residents and their families enjoyed an evening filled with incredible flavors, laughter, and great company.
​A massive thank you to our Lifestyle Coordinator, Gary, for organizing such a vibrant event, and a huge shout-out to Chef Debbie, Tracey, and the entire kitchen team for a menu that was truly the star of the show!
​On the Menu:
​🥠 Crispy Spring Rolls with Sweet Chilli Dip & Prawn Crackers
​🍖 Sticky Pork Belly & Chicken Satay
​🥢 Vegetable Stir Fry & Egg Fried Rice

​A special mention goes to our wonderful care staff, whose hard work behind the scenes and support during the evening made sure everything ran smoothly and that every resident could enjoy the festivities to the fullest. We couldn't do it without you!

​We had a fantastic morning in the coffee shop today for our big family quiz! It was wonderful to see so many residents and their loved ones teaming up for some friendly competition.
​From history buffs to music experts, there was plenty of brainpower on display—and even more laughter. Thank you to all the families who joined us and made the morning so special.

​Whether gathering in our cozy coffee shop or relaxing in the comfort of their suite or rooms, our residents celebrated in style. The celebrations were flowing with:
​🥂 Pink Prosecco for a celebratory toast
🍓 Chocolate-covered strawberries (a firm favorite!)
🍪 Homemade heart-shaped shortbread with a variety of delicious toppings
