Age spots ,sun spots skin tags, pigmentation, thread veins, blood spots. These blemishes increasingly appear on our face and body as' time goes by'. This is the time of year to address these abnomalies. Daydream has two systems to do this which are safe and quick.
Epil 2000 and Accor Plasma corrector. Epil 200 is a high frequency unit and Plasma low. Thread veins /red veins/blood spots usually appear on fragile skin but it is a very common condition. Blood leaks from weak capillaries near the skin surface. Epil has a very fine needle that traces the path of the blood but the skin remains intact so there is no risk of scarring. Post treatment the dried blood appears darker than the fresh blood that had pooled beneathe the skin and it will take a few days for it to disappear. After 24hrs make-up can be worn. The procedure is very precise and doe not compromise the skin around.

Aesthetic treatments often have an element of technology. Clients can feel overwhelmed with the various options. For the salon owner and practitioner the choice can be equally complicated when researching new equipment. For me actually experiencing personally the treatment is a must. I have been fortunate on several occassions to meet the individual manufacturer or scientist who has designed the machine or product. This has happened in the UK but I have also travellled to Spain, Israel, France and the US often to learn first hand about equipment before investing. I recall meeting and having treatment in Harley Street from a scandinavian professor who had written papers for the Lancet on a particular laser. The information he imparted and the way he delivered the treatment was completely different from the demonstration the sales team had presented.
All machines vary and have unique features. Power is not always best. Suzuki sequencing on the Bt.

Clear skin and clean skin are closely linked. A clear complexion we all desire. It is a sign of good health and vitality. My choice of cleansers for decades has been from the Crystal Clear skincare range. They are excellent value and suitable for even sensitive skins as soap free. No tautness or feeling of dryness. A dry sensation is to be avoided as the skin will react and compensate with excessive sebaceous secretion. There is no stinging of the eyes as it removes eye make up as well as face make up. Only the smallest amount of product is required. Add to it warm water and you will have an instant foam which I love becaue it allows you to move over the face freely. An excellent soft massage medium Crystal Clear Cleansing Gel can be used by all the family. Adolescents and dad will benefit as it can double as a shaving foam suitable for sensitive skins. If heavy foundation is used a second cleanse may be required.

To protect your skin cells from the effects of UV and particulary UVA a stabilised form of Virtamin C (L-ASCORBIC ACID) is essential. The concentration and pH is vital .For effective absoprtion the ph must be low. UVA rays pe*****te 30 to 40 times deeper than UVB. The result of photo damage manifests in wrinkles, brown spots and solar keratoses. Photoaging and skin cancer studies indicate that topical suncreams are worn in insufficent amounts to award the necessary protection.
Sun is not the only environmental threat to healthy skin tissue. Smoking ,air pollution, blue light also compromise the skin well being and colllagen .Topical L-Ascorbic acid should be used respectfully. There may initially be some sensitivity due to the acidic nature of the product, which is essential for true absorption so I advise introducing gradually.
Medik8 have a simple philosophy of vitamin C plus sunscreen by day and vitamin A by night.

Medik8 claim that the appearance of expression lines diminish in 10 minutes and deep set wrinkles in 8 weeks. The first claim I think an exaggeration although the skin looks hydrated and plump so not entirely misleading. The second claim has credence which is impressive.
The product has attracted a male following which is interesting. I think the simplicity of the process is appealing as this is a home product primarily. In salon I have combined it with the Venus Viva on deep expression lines and gained very good results. The product can be used day and evening and does not carry sun exposure warnings. The full regime recommended is in keeping with Medik8's CSA philosophy. Vitamin c in the day and vitamin A at night.

Here is an introduction to the fabulous Bt Glass facial. A double cleanse ensures the skin is clear of all physical or environmental 'dirt'. The exfoliation that follows may vary depending on skin type and resilience but nano needling (no needles used!) leaves the skin especially even and calm.

A range of treatments, Venus Viva, needling, Sisneo electroporation, Accord plasma, skin peels can revive these frequently neglected areas of the body but after winter they lack luster and luminosity and sun damage that you were not aware of, forgotten or ignored is suddenly blatant.
Necks become increasingly flaccid in the lower area but extra chins mysteriously appear under the jawline. Venus Viva gets to work on both the fat and the flaccid. Treatment parameters adjust to both define and tighten. The neck can be too sensitive and frail to skin needle but the gentler form of nano micro needling can be applied and combined with LED. for regeneration, nourishing and smoothing.
