⁉️ Frequently Asked Questions ⁉️
We've had some questions cropping up a lot over the last few weeks, so thought a post about accessibility, weather and booking might be helpful.
♿ Are Your Sessions Wheelchair Accessible?
YES!! We put a lot of time into finding a suitable park location to meet as many needs as possible. Clarence Park has wheelchair access, wide and flat accessible paths around a lake, and an accessible building with ramps and disabled access toilets.
We also provide benches and chairs for regular stops and rests.
Our Family Forest School sessions will also be fully accessible.
☔ What If It Rains?
We have an accessible building at the park where we can head indoors if the weather is against us. We have lots of indoor nature connection options up our sleeves, which the evidence base tells us can be just as effective. We also have a lovely view of the lake through the windows. We've got you covered! (literally if needed!🌧️ )
🥶 It's Still Early In The Year, Will I Be Cold?
No. So far we have been blessed with lovely weather for our sessions in February and March. If it is a bit chilly, we have blankets, hand warmers, heat pads, and the option to go indoors if needed.
✉️ Eventbrite Is Too Hard For Me To Use
Tickets for our sessions can be booked via Eventbrite. However, we know this can be difficult for people with cognitive and communication problems. If that's the case, get in touch at neuroinnature@proton.me, and reserve a slot to pay on the day!
If you have any other questions about our sessions drop us an email at neuroinnature@proton.me
