Self care takes many forms… and this was definitely one of them 🥰

We had such a lovely afternoon with Gather and Bloom creating Easter wreaths — a chance to slow down, get creative, and do something just for me 💕

Yes, there was a hot cross bun involved (balance, always 😉), but it was more about filling my cup in a different way… and honestly, my creative battery is either fully recharged or completely drained — I’m still undecided 😂

Safe to say though… I won’t be switching careers to floristry anytime soon 🤣🌸💐

‘Since joining Slimming World, I’m more than 10st (64kgs) lighter and no longer require medication’ 🙌!

Before, Ian was taking seven different medications each day to manage his health. He suffered from high blood pressure and stage 3 liver disease – and was told if he didn’t make changes to his lifestyle, he’d need a transplant 💔.

Fast forward to today, and he’s taken control of his health and his weight. As well as slimming down, he’s also stepped up his activity habits – literally! – and will be taking on the London Marathon next month in aid of Alzheimer's Research UK 🧡.

This week we also celebrated another of our inspirational duos and named them our “Two Together” winners! 🎉

Jess and Darcie have been members for just over a year, and you may even recognise them from being featured on Slimming World’s page!

With busy lives balancing teaching, family and socialising, they’ve shown that it is possible to stay on track. Their support for each other goes far beyond group—sharing food pics, giving little nudges when needed, and always celebrating each other’s wins 💛

They’re a fantastic example of how powerful that extra support can be, and it’s been amazing to watch their journeys together.

👭This week we celebrated our inspirational duos in group and named them our “Two Together” winners! 🎉

Deb and Ann have been friends since childhood, and it truly shows in the way they support each other week in, week out.

In group, they celebrate others’ wins just as much as their own, and that kind of kindness never goes unnoticed 💛

This week I also awarded them both their Bronze Activity Awards for their incredible consistency—proving that movement doesn’t have to mean popping on some lycra and heading to the gym or lacing up your running shoes! From walking and swimming to, in this case, chair yoga—it’s all about finding what works for you 🙌

You’re both such an inspiration to everyone in group—well done, and keep shining together ✨
