☀️ This morning we went to The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester for IMM-Music (Intergenerational Music Making) 🎶

💕 It was so nice to see how music brings all the generations together and how everyone can enjoy themselves. The youngest one there was just 12 weeks old! 🥰🤱🏼

🤗 It was also lovely to meet new, friendly people and have a chat with them 🌻

We really enjoyed the singing, movement and spending time together ☕️🤩

As we were already out, we decided to have our lunch out too. Meanwhile, our lovely residents enjoyed pizza back at home as it was National Pizza Day 🍕

We think we started our week in the best way possible 💛

Happy Sunday, everyone! 🥰

From church to festivals to memory club… we don’t do quiet weeks 😆💃

☀️Today we started our day as usual with church in the morning, then after lunch we headed over to the Ramsbottom Come Together Festival. It was absolutely fantastic and everyone had such a lovely time 🥰💕

😌And can we do a little throwback to Monday and Tuesday too? 🙈

🤩 On Monday, we went along to the Dementia and Alzheimer’s Community Session. It was so nice to see everyone, have a good chat, and enjoy spending time together 💛

🥳 On Tuesday, we went to memory club, which was great as always — lots of smiles, laughs, and a really lovely atmosphere 🫶🏻

From Physio to Prosecco — A Perfect Friday🙈

🤩Today we started with some exercise to keep ourselves fit — physio is something we really look forward to every Friday. 💪🏻

🎤 straight after physio, we enjoyed a wonderful visit from Lee, who entertained us with his fantastic singing. We love singing and dancing, and we think that’s exactly what Fridays are for! 😄💕
Of course, we also enjoyed a little prosecco 🥂

🌻While the singing and dancing were going on, Margaret headed out for some shopping and had an amazing time. 🛒

And if you think that was all for today… the answer is NO! 😄

This evening, we also had a special visit from Dusty, and our residents absolutely loved him🐶✨

We’re now at Christ Church enjoying ice cream and popcorn while watching The Fourth Wise Man. A perfect end to a perfect Friday 🍦🍿✨

Freezing cold today, but that never stops us from getting out and about! 😄🥰

☀️ We started the day with a lovely coffee morning at Christ Church — always so nice seeing and chatting with our friends there ☕💬

The afternoon was all about getting creative and making Valentine’s cards. Norma said, “I’d like to make one for my son,” and Bernadette added, “I’ll save one for my son too.” 💕✂️

🌻 While crafting, we enjoyed our favourite music, then sat together singing along 🎶❤️

Meanwhile, Stuart was busy enjoying a game of pool, and David had great fun playing dominoes 🎱🁫

A cold day, but full of warmth, laughter, and friendship 🥰💕

✨ A few lovely moments from last week we’d love to share! ✨

🤩 On Thursday, we enjoyed beautiful piano music from Louis 🎹, and we all enjoyed singing along to our favourite song, It’s a Long Way to Tipperary 💃🏻🕺🏻(the video is in the comments!). 🎶

💕 Brian and Stuart had so much fun with some games, enjoying each other’s company and a good giggle along the way.😇

And tonight some of our residents enjoyed a wee dram of Scotch whisky 🥃

Whisky might not be everyone’s favourite, but on Burns Night… how could we say no? 🥳

Situated a few miles outside Bury, in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, Lavender Hills is a beautiful Victorian property that has been lovingly restored to combine period elegance with modern comfort, providing the highest standards of care for 44 elderly ladies and gentlemen.

The home is located close to the attractive market town of Ramsbottom and sits in over 12 acres of landscaped gardens, featuring a stunning 50ft waterfall and magnificent views overlooking the Rossendale Valley.

Lavender Hills provides a real home from home ambience, whilst also being fully equipped to provide residential care for a wide variety of needs. In recent years, the home has developed a reputation for excellence and the staff team continually strives to meet and exceed the standards set out by the Care Quality Commission.
