There is still time to have your say on Bury’s District Nursing Service
We are working with the Bury District Nursing Service to hear from local people about their experiences.

If you or someone you know have received nursing care at home in the last 18 months, we would really value your feedback.

District Nurses will also be carrying printed surveys and prepaid envelopes for housebound patients.

Your experiences help us understand what’s working well and where improvements are needed, ensuring services continue to meet local needs.

GP’S PRESCRIPTION TO ART AND ACTIVTIES HAS BEEN ‘LIFE-CHANGING’

For Zenith from Bury, decades of severe anxiety and isolation have started to lift thanks to social prescribing - connecting people to creative arts, gardening, cooking, exercise and community groups that support mental health and wellbeing.

With the help of Bury GP Federation’s social prescribing team, Zenith has found confidence, purpose and new friendships through groups like Cuppa & Chat, creative arts sessions and allotment activities.

Social prescribing is transforming lives across Bury - with more than 5,850 people supported this year alone.

If you are feeling lonely, anxious or overwhelmed, you can self‑refer and get support at your own pace:
