Bury Hospice Advent Calendar: Day 21

Thank you to the 21 schools and nurseries that took part in either the Bunny Hop or Reindeer Run, this year, to raise funds for Bury Hospice.

These sponsored runs have raised a phenomenal £17,000 so far… and counting!

Twenty percent of patients supported by the community team have varying diagnoses, including dementia, MS and COPD.

If you have a life-limiting illness and need support, you can self-refer to our team, and we will help by providing advice and signposting you to relevant services. Just call our friendly team on 0161 762 5709.

Every month we host a Motor Neurone Disease clinic at the hospice, in conjunction with the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

This service helps to bring treatments closer to home.

Did you know that for £10, a patient can enjoy a bubble bath, while a £20 donation will cover a three-course Christmas dinner. A £30 contribution will provide a complementary therapy session for a patient or their loved one.
