Some mornings really stop you in your tracks.
At Sequoia Health we spend our days helping businesses and individuals build bespoke Private Healthcare propositions. It’s what we do, and we’re proud of the service we provide. But every now and then, you hear something that really reminds you of why you do it.
On a call with client this morning, she said:
“If it wasn’t for the private healthcare you set up for us, Lee, I would have died of cancer…..
I would not have had access to the certain treatments and subsequent preventative drugs on the NHS……”
It’s hard to describe how that landed. It made me pause and take in exactly what she said.
We often talk about value, service, support, peace of mind, attraction, retention, but what sits behind all of that are real lives.
Business owners have families.
Managers have families.
Employees have families.
It was a powerful reminder that some days, in our own way, we really do make a small difference.
Just something I felt compelled to share.
