Running your own business goes far beyond the traditional 9-to-5 schedule—it requires dedication, resilience, and a great deal of hard work. Alongside the challenges, it also brings truly rewarding and memorable experiences.

Today was one of those moments. I had the privilege of visiting one of my patients at Wirral CP Boxing Club. The atmosphere was vibrant, dynamic, and incredibly welcoming. Everyone I met was warm, genuine, and embodied what true inclusion should look like—uplifting, supportive, and full of joy.

Thank you for such an inspiring experience and for restoring my faith in the power of community.

A big thank you to Irwin Mitchell Manchester, Charlotte Abbott and Bilal Hussain, for such an inspirational and grounding event this evening, shining a light on equality in every sense.

At a time when the media can often make the world feel less accepting, it was incredibly refreshing to hear the strong, compassionate voices of the speakers. Learning about the impactful work they’re doing across different sectors and around the world was a powerful reminder of where our attention should be.

Last week we completed a wellbeing presentation for ATtherapy Andrea Sharples Hayley Power Francesca Anna and their amazing team.
Abigail Emery presented on counselling and hypnotherapy
completed massage sessions
Rosie Hall presented on and completed a trial of acupuncture and I got the opportunity to talk about wellbeing and medical aromatherapy.
I was so proud of my team and their skills. ✨️
Also, we got to celebrate some wonderful people and help them look after themselves and each other while helping client's who have got complex injuries.

"We didn't know you did that"
I hear this a lot from case managers, solicitors and patients!
So here is a little inside info;
Summerseat Physiotherapy Clinic has been running for 15 years and over this time we have built up from me as a sole trader to now having 15 staff; 2 admin, 4 Physiotherapy assistants and 9 specialist neurological physiotherapists!
We are revamping our website so you can see us all soon 😁 but here is some previous photos!

It doesn't have to be using technical equipment, although we do love at bit of that at Summerseat Physiotherapy, but excellent rehabilitation does need to be in line with an individuals goals. and and Scott Lawton and Jacqui Oakes

I am passionate about my job and about maximising potential. There is no stopping this lovely man who broke his back and has been using a wheelchair...but not in clinic this week...thanks to for the equipment
