Today is Epilepsy Awareness Day! πŸ’œ The Rochdale team came together wearing purple to show our support. Our staff shared heartfelt stories about how epilepsy has impacted their lives. We made purple ribbons as a symbol of solidarity and awareness. Let's continue to spread the word and support those affected by epilepsy! πŸ•ŠοΈβœ¨

Adele and Becky attended the Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester conference today.

It was really interesting to hear about the regional strategy, trauma-responsive education, local initiatives and exploring the long-term impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences. It was also an opportunity to network among 700 people from social, health, education and VCSE organisations across Greater Manchester who are showing a commitment to trauma responsive practice.

In this carousel, we highlight influential or notable figures whose stories have shaped how we understand Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). From those affected by injustice and discrimination, to those advocating for identity, representation and fairness.

Some stories remind us of the impacts of exclusion, while others show how embracing difference through culture, faith, disability, or neurodiversity fosters innovation and positive change. Individuality enriches our communities! Be bright. Be bold. Be you!

At Early Break, we're committed to our EDI journey by improving how we recruit, support, and ally with the communities we serve. We will continue listening and learning.
