The NHS has launched a new online self-assessment tool for women who experience a bleed or spotting they’ve been through the menopause and who are not on HRT.
It’s for women in:
➡️ Bury
➡️ Salford
➡️ Oldham
➡️ Heywood
➡️ Middleton
➡️ Rochdale.

Any bleeding from your va**na after the menopause (when your periods have been stopped for 12 months or more) should be checked out to rule out possible womb cancer.

You can now do this without booking an appointment with a GP.

Simply answer a few questions on the online self-assessment tool to request a hospital check.

Ribblesdale Medical Practice will soon be introducing EMMA, an AI powered assistant to help you get through to the surgery faster without queuing on the phones.

No more 8am scrambles or endless hold music. Emma can help with appointment requests, prescription queries, and directing you to the right care - instantly.

Our reception team will of course still be here for you, EMMA simply supports them and helps us to serve our patients better.
