Yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure of welcoming a new artist to Hewlett Court — the brilliant Shaun Sloan 🎶✨

Our ladies and gents thoroughly enjoyed his performance, which was packed with variety, from Frank Sinatra classics to The Music Man. There was plenty of singing and dancing along from seats all around! 💃🕺

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Shaun back again soon 👏😊

✨ Rachel is taking on the 5K Night of Neon Walk ✨

On Saturday 7th February, our Team Leader Rachel will be taking part in the annual 5k Night of Neon Walk around Salford Quays, Manchester, raising money for The Christie Charity 💛
This is a charity very close to Rachel’s heart, having supported family and friends in the past — and now helping many others for the future.

Arm Chair Exercises with Naomi

The Ladies and gents enjoyed taking part in armchair exercises with Naomi. The session was fun, inclusive, and suitable for all abilities. These popular exercise sessions take place every Monday and are always well attended by our residents. 🏋🏼‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️

🎉 New Year’s Day Celebrations 🎉

What a truly lovely day we had yesterday welcoming in the New Year! 🥂

The ladies and gents enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast with Bucks Fizz on arrival, followed by a few fun games and relaxing time in the lounge with staff, complete with Baileys or Brandy coffees and mince pies ☕️🥧

The main event was a fantastic four-course lunch, starting with melon or prawn cocktail, followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings. Dessert was a classic Christmas pudding with brandy sauce, and to finish, cheese and biscuits, tea and coffee!! 🧀🍪

A big thank you to Mel, Cook, for preparing such an excellent meal, which was praised by everyone 👏

After an amazing few weeks of celebrations, the afternoon was spent unwinding and relaxing — the perfect start to the New Year ✨

🌈✨ Rainbow New Year’s Eve Party! ✨🌈

The ladies, gents, and staff had an incredible time welcoming in 2026 at our Rainbow New Year’s Eve party — and what a party it was! 🎉🥳

With a great variety of refreshments and fun-filled games, including Pass the Parcel and Guess the Song, there were plenty of laughs and smiles all around. Everyone truly had a ball! 🎶🎁

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for organising such a fantastic evening and making it a night to remember for everyone. ✨💛
