How do you know if your children’s shoes fit properly ?

When do children’s feet stop growing? Girls feet can stop growing between ages 13 to 15, while boys’ feet can continue to grow until their late teens. How often should school shoes be checked? School shoes should be checked halfway through the year or at the end of each term.

Generally speaking, there should be about one finger's width of space between your child’s longest toe and the end of the shoe. Another way to check this is to slip a finger between the heel of their foot and the heel of their shoe. There should be just enough space for your finger to fit nice and snugly.
