APPOINTMENT UPDATE:

⭐️ With the lowering of restrictions we are pleased to announce that from Monday 14th March we will be resuming face to face appointment bookings without the need for prior triage.

⭐️ For appointments from this day onwards patients will have the choice to either opt for a telephone consultation or face to face consultation provided they have no fever, sore throat or recent onset headache.

⭐️ We continue to ask our patients to keep safe where and how possible as the Covid pandemic is certainly not over yet.

COVID BOOSTER JABS (update):

Although our surgery's intention was to deliver the Covid Booster jabs at our practice premises, new information from the JCVI, as well as clarification from the CCG, means that the jabs need to be delivered at the designated site of each PCN (Primary Care Network). Our PCN's designated site is Allum Hall, Borehamwood and this is where the booster jabs will now take place.

🔹All 16-17 year olds should now have received an invite for their COVID jabs. If you are in this age group, and have not received an invite over the telephone, please call the surgery to arrange 📱☎️ Many thanks.

💉💉💉COVID BOOSTER JABS:

🔸We are intending to deliver the Covid booster jabs programme to those eligible, regardless of where you may have had your first or second jabs, AT OUR SURGERY PREMISES. As per JCVI guidance, the programme will commence Nationally on 6th September, and will follow priority groups. The availability of booster jab appointments will be subject to vaccine availability.

🔸We will keep you updated via our Practice website as well as on our Twitter and pages. General Practice is completely overwhelmed with demand currently and we appreciate you NOT calling the surgery to make enquiries about booster jab appointments.

🔸Current JCVI guidance is subject to change before 6th September, therefore the logistics of delivery has not been finalised yet.
