🎄✨ Finding Calm in the Christmas Chaos ✨🎄
As we head towards Christmas, is life starting to feel a little intense?
Are you like me with the to-do lists getting longer, the days getting shorter, and desperately trying to juggle work, family, shopping, planning, emotions - all at once?
If you're feeling the pressure building - there’s a way to find pockets of calm, even in the middle of the ‘busyness’.
🌿 Here’s a simple technique you can use anytime:
Hand-Over-Heart Breathing
Place one hand over your heart.
Take a slow breath in for a count of 4.
Exhale even more slowly for a count of 6.
Repeat 5–7 times.
This does two powerful things:
✨ It signals your nervous system to switch out of stress mode.
✨ It brings you back into your body, into the present moment.
It takes less than a minute, and you can do it in the car, in the bathroom, in bed, or while hiding from wrapping paper.
