Our Easter celebrations went on all week.
We had children coming in and making Easter bonnets, and doing an Easter egg hunt that the Easter bunny had set for them.
The fabulous Sophia the singing harpist came in and performed for us, and she was just brilliant.
After that we had an Easter themed afternoon tea with a special Easter bunny cake that our fabulous chef's had made for us, and on Sunday our wonderful activities team delivered an Easter egg or daffodils to every resident.

It is safe to say that be had a marvelous Easter here at Haddon Hall Care Home ❤

As part of our constant search to improve the the safety of our residents we have recently had staff training for our brand new Mangar chair, over 30 members the team have taken the training and it is part of a county wide falls support project.

The Mangar chair is lightweight and very compact when not inflated and these features combined with its battery operated compressor ensure that it is a truly portable emergency lifting aid that can be used indoors or outdoors, in any situation where more conventional lifting aids such as mobile hoists are not available. The Mangar chair has a built in back rest and provides an extremely stable lifting base which allows the individual to be lifted with dignity, whilst at the same time protecting both the carer and the individual being lifted, from the risk of any injury. Using the simple, easy to use hand controller and the Airflo Compressor, the carer inflates the Mangar lifting Chair section by section to gradually bring the individual being raised up to a position that is high enough to allow them to stand unaided.
