Over the years I've had many grandparents in my classes and it's an absolute pleasure to teach appropriate grandparents signs or help to make up new ones. Not all grandparents are Grandma, Nanna or Grandad! To Those who are lucky enough to have grandparents that lend a parenting hand, have a little celebration! 🥰

The children at Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery, Chapel en Le Frith are just magic. They get stuck in and are so creative. They have so many ideas about different ways we can make our own music. Such an utter joy!

Tuesday’s Top Tip 😁
Depending on where you live, chances are you’ve now had your first class of the autumn term or watched your first session.

If you’re new to Sing and Sign, you might be feeling excited and eager to start using all the signs you’ve learned 😁 … or perhaps you’re wondering where to begin 🤔

Or maybe you and your little one have been with us for a term or two already, and now you’re thinking about using lots of signs all at once 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wherever you are on your Sing and Sign journey, remember this: KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Our golden rule is one sign per spoken sentence. This helps draw your baby’s attention to the most important word, making it easier for them to understand and link the sign, word, and meaning together. Think of baby signs as visual signposts - simplicity is key! 😊
