✨ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: LIZZIE ✨
Lizzie joined us back in December 2024 with a clear goal in mind… getting in amazing shape for her wedding. 💍
Fast forward to this summer and she tied the knot with her (then soon-to-be husband) Dominic in the beautiful village of Eyam — and yes, keep your eyes peeled because his member spotlight is coming soon. 👀
Since joining PT Corner, Lizzie has fully embraced making training work around her life. She’s a big lover of the outdoors and walking, and you’ll most often find her smashing the 7am sessions, because that’s what fits best with her routine (early starts, strong finishes 💪).
And if that wasn’t exciting enough… she’s just returned from an incredible Caribbean honeymoon. 🌴☀️
We love seeing members like Lizzie use training to support big life moments — not restrict them. Consistency, balance, and finding what works for you really is the magic formula.

We first set the facility up 2.5 years and we did this because both Dave and Callum were personal trainers at another local gym.
Personal training can be quite expensive, costing around £20-30 per one-hour session.
They found that lots of people were interested in personal training but just couldn’t afford it.
So they wanted to make it more affordable and more accessible to more people.
That is when they decided to set up PT Corner.
They moved from the 1-2-1 personal training model they used to offer and now offer ‘group personal training.’
What does this mean?
It means you share a personal training session in a small group which reduces the price massively whilst still keeping that personal training involvement.
It also means you get multiple sessions throughout the month instead of perhaps just the one per week you could afford with 1-2-1 personal training.
