Summer classes update:

No classes for the month of July.
Tuesday morning 10 -11 Tideswell Community Hall resumes on 5th August.
Thursday morning Buxton 10 - 11.30 The Yoga Den Buxton resumes 7th August
New starters welcome - contact me for more information.
Tuesday evening 7.15 - 8.45 at The Yoga Den resumes September 2nd.
In the meantime, Yoga with Heidi and I are running workshops. Cost is £20.

Great news, yoga formally recommended as a standalone intervention for schizophrenia for US veterans, recognising its positive impact on negative symptoms in a way medication can't achieve. Hopefully this will support the case for yoga in mental health care more widely - not just as exercise but for it's holistic approach.

The VA/DOD CPG reflects the expansion of treatments for first-episode psychosis and schizophrenia and highlights the challenges in developing clinical practice guidelines.

A quick update.

Start of a new block this week. All classes will run for 5 consecutive weeks except for the Tuesday evening on 15th April, so the final Tuesday evening class of this block will be on 29th April.

No need to miss your regular Tuesday night yoga though as I'll be running a workshop at The Yoga Den Buxton with Yoga with Heidi 6.30 -8.30 pm, 15th April. It is suitable for all, cost £20.

Dear all, we just want to let you know about Tritha, a classical Indian singer. Tritha uses sound and vibration to support health and her singing is quite unique. Dr Rebecca Baron, one of our wonderful members, would like us to share this experience with you. You're all welcome to experience Tritha's magical voice on Sunday 3rd September.

11.30- 1 pm A relaxing concert of Raagas and healing Mantras.
1 - 1.30 refreshments
1.30 - 3 pm Singing workshop to explore vocal techniques, breath and vocal muscles and learn empowering and purifying mantra chants.
Highly recommended! I met her in India on a yoga retreat and her concerts are uplifting and amazing.

Hi all

I'm looking forward to the regular timetable starting up again the week beginning 7th October. Class times and venues are below.
I haven't put up the price of my 5 week blocks for years and I've decided to do that now. Please do let me know if this is a genuine problem for you, I'd hate anyone to miss out on yoga for financial reasons.
I have one taster class left - Monday 16th September 6.15pm in Tideswell. Let me know if you'd like to come along or if you have any queries about classes. 🙏
